Last weekend, Taste The Alps accompanied food and wine journalists from Germany to discover the wonders of Valtellina. Visits to the main companies in the area have allowed the German press to touch and taste the products promoted by the project: the bresaola della Valtellina PGI in the well-known company Rigamonti, the Mela di Valtellina PGI in the Melavì headquarters in Ponte in Valtellina, the cheeses Bitto PDO and Valtellina Casera PDO in Chiuro, in the historic dairy and, finally, a visit to the Nino Negri winery to discover Valtellina PDO and PGI wines. All in the wonderful villages of the valley, between historic buildings and typical restaurants.
