From 20 to 24 September, Taste The Alps, in collaboration with the Lombardy Region, will be present at the 2018 edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto in Turin, which is one of the most important European events dedicated to the quality of food productions.
The stand (Hall 2, area 2, E 118) is the result of collaboration with the Lombardy Region and ERSAF (Regional Agency for Agriculture and Forestry Services) and will be an opportunity to promote the Taste The Alps project and give way to taste the Valtellina PDO and PGI products in a gastronomic journey that enhances the heritage of authentic products protected by European certifications.
A sommelier and a chef will serve visitors during the day Valtellina and Lombardy dishes prepared with the products of the protection consortia. Furthermore, at the weekend, two pizzoccheri specialists from the Accademia di Teglio will be at the stand to serve one of the most famous dishes of the Valtellina tradition.
